ADAP Sponsors Red Ribbon Week at Weston High School

Student representatives held a kick-off celebration of Red Ribbon Week at Weston High school as part of a nationwide effort to raise awareness about the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse.  2015 Red Ribbon week is Oct 23-31.

ADAP Senior Leadership Awards

Alex Brostoff and Alex Sydney received ADAPS’s Leadership Award in May 2015 at Weston High School’s Senior Award Assembly The recipients of the ADAP Leadership Award were recognized as leaders of ADAP’s peer education program, the Youth Leadership Council (YLC), for their work as student members of the ADAP Board, and for their contribution to ADAP’s awareness and education programs.

ADAP Raises Awareness about Alcohol and Drug Abuse during Red Ribbon Week

The Alcohol and Drug Awareness Program (ADAP) of Weston kicked off Red Ribbon Week on October 27 to raise awareness about the dangers of alcohol and drug abuse. ADAP youth group members greeted fellow students and provided breakfast. They also handed out red bracelets saying, Love Yourself, Be Drug Free.

Marijuana and Drug Use is Up Among Weston’s Teens
