STUDENT GROUP MEETINGS

ADAP Weston provides a monthly, confidential group for high school students to discuss the challenges they face both in and outside of school. It is an open forum designed to help teens manage their overall wellness, the risks of alcohol and substance misuse and all other challenges facing teens today.

The group is facilitated by clinically licensed Josh Flaherty, LCSW who is supported by a small team of student leaders. The student group is made up of approximately 25-30 Weston students (grades 9-12) within a safe and nonjudgmental environment.

In addition, our student leaders may mentor younger students, become peer leaders and help with ADAP’s awareness programs in the Weston schools and in the community.

The group meets monthly - October through May - on mutually convenient dates for group members, 7-9 PM, at the Weston Public Library Community Room.
Since the group only meets once a month, a commitment to regular attendance is expected.

The group meets on the following dates in the 2025-2026 school year:

  • Monday 2nd February, 2026

  • Monday 2nd March, 2026

  • Monday 6th April, 2026

  • Monday 4th May, 2026

  • Monday 1st June, 2026
